Climbing in Sinai goes back to biblical times, but in in 60-80 years of the twentieth century thanks to the Israeli climbers, it began to develop faster and faster.

The main climbing area of Sinai - Santa Caterina is situated 130 kilometers from Dahab. At different times there were discovered and described more than 150 climbing routes of various difficulty level and there are still a large number of undiscovered lines.

In the immediate vicinity of Dahab there are several climbing polygons equipped bolt tracks and reliable stations. We have built two new climbing routes on the mountain Laba seven kilometers from Dahab.

We invite people who are interested in mountain climbing to join us on the rocks of Sinai! Here there are worthy trails for everyone, from the beginners to the experienced climbers.

We leave Dahab (a car picks you up from a convenient location in Dahab) in the morning or after lunch. Go to one of the three climbing polygons in the canyon of Wadi Kunai. The routes are punched by jumpers, station are interlocked by chains. There are two pitches routs and trade routes available. We are going to climb the rocks for 4 hours and then return to Dahab. It is quite convenient to combine this program with Windsurfing, kite surfing, diving, and other traditional entertainment in Dahab.

Mountain Laba towers above eight kilometers away from Dahab to the North of the city, on the sea shore near the famous Blue Hole.

The program is suitable for the beginners.

We leave Dahab at dawn. Approaches through the picturesque gorge with overcoming short rock walls take 2-3 hours. Then we go through a beautiful rocky route 2A complexity (3 hours). The beautiful view of Dahab, Blue Lagoon, surrounding mountains and the sea opens up from the top of the mountain. We descend from the summit and go back down the gorge. The total time of the event 10 - 12 hours.
